DESCRIPTION

Take the role of a customized character and embark on a fantasy adventure with other gamers from across the country. As in the Dreamcast, Xbox, and earlier GameCube versions of this title, players design their characters from a choice of a dozen basic types, and three different classes. Adventurers meet in a futuristic space station headquarters, then travel to the surface of a dangerous alien planet to seek rewarding battle with deadly monsters. Phantasy Star Online offers a single-player mode, a two-player split-screen mode, and an online multiplayer mode. The "Plus" version of Phantasy Star Online I & II features offline versions of three Episode II quests which were previously available only online: "Seat of the Heart," "The East Tower," and "The West Tower." Five online "Challenge Stages" from Episode II are now available for offline play as well. Also included are playable versions of "NiGHTS — Score Attack" and "Puyo Pop," as well as other mini-games which can be downloaded to a Game Boy Advance. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
