DESCRIPTION

PGA Tour 96 lets you play as or against nine PGA Tour pros: Brad Faxon, Peter Jacobsen, Lee Janzen, Tom Kite, Bruce Lietzke, Davis Love III, Mark O'Meara, Craig Stadler and Fuzzy Zoeller. You can play 18 holes of golf on three different TPC Championship courses. There are four different types play: stroke, skins, match and tournament.

Each of the pros represented can be consulted for advice via digitized graphics and speech. TV-style coverage gives you hole fly-bys, instant replays and announcer commentary. Sand traps, ponds, wind conditions, roughs and other obstacles will hamper your goal of scoring as low a number as possible. For distance and aiming, you use a swing meter and a Targeting Arc System, which previews the flight of your shot and controls ball spin.
