Return to the dawn of the Age of Sail, a time when nearly unlimited wealth and power could be claimed by those brave enough to travel the high seas and profit from the exchange of goods. While remaining true to the proven real-time empire-building approach of the first two games in the series, Patrician III offers a number of enhanced and new features. A new map editor allows users to choose and customize between 16 and 25 towns, from a selection of 40. Seasonal weather produces new graphical effects, and can affect the flow of trade.
