Panic Restaurant is a late-era NES platformer that boils over with personality and creativity. You take on the role of a white-haired, bushy-mustached chef named Cookie as he tries to clear his restaurant of invaders that give new meaning to "food gone bad." Frying pans, spoons and forks are used as weapons against enemies like crazed carrots, out of control turkeys and exploding apples. The game sports an attractive pastel color scheme similar to Kirby's Adventure that really shows off the NES' capabilities, and the soundtrack is of equal quality. The difficulty level can be somewhat high, but not enough to keep you from enjoying this quirky, underrated title. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
