DESCRIPTION

This "Gold" edition Painkiller bundle contains a full version of the old-school, run-and-gun first-person shooter, along with its Battle Out of Hell expansion pack and a "Making Of" DVD video.

As Painkiller, the player must fight past hordes of undead creatures while freeing whatever is left of their souls. With every 100 souls collected, Painkiller can transform into a ghastly creature himself, using its physical strength and ferocity to engage multiple demons at once. Players will also have at their disposal an arsenal of ranged weapons, all of which feature primary and secondary attacks.

In Battle Out of Hell, players again take the role of "Heaven's Hitman," a demon-hunter with exceptional skills and a few supernatural tricks up his overcoat sleeve. The add-on includes a new, ten-level single-player campaign, more multiplayer maps and modes, and editing tools that allow fans to create their own multiplayer levels and single-player modifications. ~ T.J.
