DESCRIPTION
Unlike the original Pac-Man, which has you guiding the lead character around a singular 2D maze, Pac-Mania puts you in a land of 3D mazes and scrolling worlds. The 22 game levels will take you to Block Town, Pac-Man's Park, Sandbox Land and Jungly Steps. Your goal, just like in the original, is to gobble up dots while avoiding enemy ghosts. If you eat one of the four power pills in the maze, you can temporarily turn the tables on the ghosts. When you have eaten all the dots in a maze, you progress to the next level.
In addition to introducing 3D mazes to the universe of Pac-Man games, Pac-Mania features two new ghosts: Sue and Funky. Also, Pac-Man is now endowed with the ability to jump over ghosts, and he can eat green pills for temporary speed boosts and red pills for doubling point values. In most Pac-Man-related games, including this one, you can eat fruit for extra points. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
