DESCRIPTION
Rival Interactive, the same studio that created Real War for the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, helped develop P.R.I.S.M. Guard Shield as a training program for use by the Army National Guard. The title acronym stands for "Preemptive Reconnaissance and Identification Security Mainframe," and refers to a system of newly developed equipment intended for use in combating terrorism. "P.R.I.S.M." is capable of remotely hacking into video surveillance systems across the country, allowing government officials to surreptitiously monitor private feeds and identify potential threats before they become real. When terrorist actions are suspected, the player is sent to handle the threat. Rival and Rebellion also worked on Playlogic's commercial version of the game, called P.R.I.S.M.: Threat Level Red. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
