“Pretty much full price. My wife managed to snag Borderlands for $44 at Target shortly after Thanksgiving. She had to buy Assassin's Creed II twice because she accidentally ordered the 360 version the first time. Whoops. For some reason though, she wasn't amused by my solution of "we could just go buy a 360." Ah well, c'est la vie.”

Well, I got Chrono Trigger DS and Sim City DS on Christmas.

Did not actually buy much else... I mean, I would have loved too--but well... all the mental blocks I put on my mind kind of disappeared towards the end of November. So I was flooded with all the crap that I really do not like facing that has occurred in my life since about the age of twelve.

Suffice to say, I was not really functional at all in Decembre.”

“I got Assassin's Creed II, and Dragon Ball Raging Blast. ACII was a lot better than I expected (I was a bt unsure if it would be good or not, but it's excellent), and DBRB is pretty tough at times but it's going to keep me busy for a long time! Oh, I also got a copy of Megaman Zero (GBA) - which I haven't played much of yet - and I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma II with some Christmas money, but that's in the pipeline til I'm bored (I've already got and completed NGII).”

I picked up the PC games from Steam for a total of $23.78. I'm having a blast playing C&C: RA3. I was hesitant to buy it last year because it seemed mediocre, but I'm glad I have it now. For the next Steam Holiday Sale, I'm planning to get Assassin's Creed II.”

“Here's a new one for everyone, what do you think was the best game you played in 2009? Even though I just started Demon's Soul, I think it might be my favorite game of 2009.
It reminds me so much of King's Field, one of my favorite game series.

Followed by the highly underrated PC game Cryostasis.

Was glued to my PC for a week, trying to unlock most achievements. I'm currently on my second play-through with custom character. Can't wait for Mass Effect II.”

The story is still one of the best with alot of perverse humour not found in the rest of the series.. Cloud dresses up as a girl to save tifa from a brothel?! Absolute classic! ^_^”

XBox 360 games, PS2 games, a few NDS games, I think I bought Persona at this point too.

The bills and debts and what not, that I rack up in Swik really do not hit me until June the following year.

Which, to be fully honest, I would prefer to be broke in June than in January.

Somehow I suspect in doing so I have two major effects:

1) Supporting the economy better during what typically is a slump (January, February and March)

2) Getting some typically better (well better balanced) prices during those months due to lack of people shopping due to the effects of the Holiday season.

I mean, yes, the sales are over--but typically sales tend to only apply to certain items--anything not on sale tends to be over priced, compared to the rest of the year.”

“Big review at http://zetaentertainmentnetwork.blogspot.com/ Overall I liked this game. It might have a few tech issues but then again it might have been the disk. Minions are great. Is a definite must play, but buy it used.”
