A lone sheriff has mounted his horse and rode into the arid desert filled with all kinds of criminals, cacti and other hazards. In Outlaws, you'll have to maneuver the sheriff through various levels that involve shooting crooks and leaping over obstacles.
When a criminal is shot, he'll fall off his horse but the horse continues to run straight for the sheriff. Avoiding this hazard means building up enough speed and jumping over the horse. Failure to do so will throw the law enforcer from his horse. As punishment, a life will be lost. Criminals also have six-shooters and will fire at the sheriff. A hit from a bullet will cause the hero to fall off his horse and die.
There are times when trees, rocks and fallen cacti block the path. Unless you jump the over these objects, it will come to an abrupt stop. The sheriff will then have to turn around, build some speed and try again. Use caution, as criminals will come from behind firing their six-shooters. When criminals are killed, points are added to the overall total.
With environments ranging from the arid desert to an old west town, the sheriff has his hands full. Will you help the law enforcer rid the west of Outlaws, or die trying? ~ Matthew House, All Game Guide
