DESCRIPTION

Racing home from a prior engagement, Lester, speeds through the stormy night, the solution to his particle acceleration experiment finally at hand. Anxiously, he fires key codes into doors and impatiently sits through retinal scans until he finally enters his lab. He fires up his computer, throws the new sequence in, rips open a can of pop, and waits as the computer calculates the equation.

Everything's going great and the accelerator is humming loudly when the compound is hit by bolt of lightning. Surging into the accelerator, the lightning zaps Lester, and his whole workstation, ripping them out of time and space. Entering a dark world, submerged in water, Lester leaves his desk and quickly swims away from the tentacles chasing closely at his feet. He emerges, lost in this strange new world.

And so begins the classic tale of Interplay's Out of This World! This new 3DO version sees completely reworked graphics with lushly detailed backgrounds, a new soundtrack, and completely rendered cut-scenes, as opposed to the previous flat shaded ones of other versions.
