DESCRIPTION
Otogi: Myth of Demons is an action game where players are challenged to defeat massive armies of hideous creatures using a deadly combination of melee weapons and magical attacks. What sets this game apart is its setting and theme. Otogi takes place in ancient Japan during a mystic time when demonic armies have besieged the country. Cast in the role of Raikoh, an undead warrior inspired by legend and folklore, players must attack these demon hordes until they are no longer free to wander the earth.
The action is played from a third-person perspective set behind the lead character. Over 30 weapons are available to use in real-time combat, from traditional swords and axes to special items of mysterious origin, all of which can be upgraded over time. Raikoh can also tap into 12 schools of magic to help confront the monsters and massive boss creatures populating the land. More than 25 stages are featured in Otogi, including outdoor environments, underground caverns, and indoor locales. The 3D engine offers fully destructible objects such as trees, furniture, walls, and even entire structures. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
