DESCRIPTION
Though released simultaneously with the Wii title Bikini Zombie Slayers, Bikini Samurai Squad actually serves as a prequel in the mature-themed Onechanbara series of hack-and-slash games. Gamers take control of either Aya or Saki, two beautiful young women armed with samurai swords and revealing outfits, as they slice their way through hordes of writhing undead. When the girls get covered in too much blood they fly into "Rage Mode" and begin dispatching zombies with alarming speed and ferocity; but staying blood-soaked for too long will eventually sap their health reserves. Solo players can lead the girls through multiple stages, including motorcycle-riding levels, in "Story Mode," kill indiscriminately in "Free Play" mode, stay healthy for as long as possible in "Survival Mode," take on more than 40 unique tasks in "Quest Mode," and even flex a bit of fashion sense in "Dress-up Mode." Gamers can always take advantage of either character's unique fighting style in single-player battles, or choose instead to unleash both girls on the zombie masses with the two-player co-op mode. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“A terrible game, I only rented this game, because my girlfriend liked Zombies and was willing to play it co-op with me. It turns out that you lose control of one of the characters in co-op, so you play 1-Player style until you make it to the mission where you save her. The controls are shoddy, the story is poorly translated, and the levels aren't even developed or logical. You walk down the street and 2D-ish bones/wood pop up out of the street and that is what limits you to areas, as well as invisible walls.”

“This game is awful. I think I gave up on this when I realised that your katana can actually get stuck in zombies. GET STUCK. And it looks terrible.”
