Oil Tycoon gives you the chance to fulfill the dream of controlling the world's oil supply. Locate hot spots for oil, build rigs and drill, hire engineers, and even sabotage opposing oil companies if you dare. Defend against competitor attacks, expand your empire with research centers to hone the processes of oil supply and demand, and provide communities with schools, parks, and other facilities to keep your employees contented.

Multiplayer action for up to six players via the Internet or a LAN is available, as well as a robust single-player campaign. Real-time gameplay, a technology tree, real-life based economics including stock market prices and worldwide rates, tutorials, and three difficulty levels are just some of the features that allow you to become an Oil Tycoon. Choose between a real-time mode, where units of time equal one day, and a round-based mode in which you end each turn.
