DESCRIPTION

A mysterious fog has enveloped Egypt and gamers must control and expand their mythical empire in preparation for barbarian attacks. A mixture of empire-building strategy and puzzle solving, Oasis requires that players strike a strategic balance of city defense, weapon development, and population growth. Exploration is handled by mouse-clicking on shaded areas of the map, but gamers must decide if it is best to build connecting roads, unearth technology from mountain caves, or explore sections of the desert on a search for the mystical Glyphs of Power. Players must choose their moves wisely because the barbarians attack when all the clicks are gone. There are 35 levels in all, with ten tutorial modes, and a unique level generator provides expanded gameplay. ~ All Game Guide
