DESCRIPTION

In Nocturne you play a member of a top secret government organization of the 1930s referred to as Spookhouse. This organization is devoted to the investigation of supernatural crimes and phenomena.

Your protagonist character is known only as "The Stranger," a mysterious man, seemingly with no past. His travels for Spookhouse take him across the globe, from Germany to Texas. The game itself is divided into four separate acts, each with its own story, spanning from 1927 to 1935.

A number of weapons are at The Stranger's disposal. While he never leaves home without his twin .45 pistols, he'll also come across shotguns, flame throwers, tommy guns, and even a cross bow. Not to mention a host of explosives, melee weapons, and even good ol' fashioned monster killers like a cross or stake.
