Created by the man behind the Katamari series, and sharing the same sort of colorful world as its spiritual predecessor, Noby Noby Boy offers players a similarly inexplicable gameplay experience, albeit with an emphasis on elasticity rather than rotundity. Players guide Boy, a four-legged wormlike creature, as it stretches and winds its way around game levels full of people, farm animals, sporting equipment, random geometric shapes, and a wide variety of bizarre creatures and objects. The analog sticks correspond to Boy's front and rear legs, and sending the sticks in opposite directions causes Boy's abdomen to stretch. Gamers earn points by stretching the creature as much as possible, and those points are then uploaded to Girl, an online character who grows in relation to the total number of stretching points accumulated worldwide. Girl eventually grows large enough to reach the moon and other heavenly objects, thereby opening up new gameplay environments for Boy. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
