DESCRIPTION
Set atop the skyscrapers of modern-day Tokyo, Ninja Blade finds players slicing their way through hordes of infected monsters in a battle to save humanity. Gamers take on the role of Ken Ogawa, member of a highly skilled team of ninjas, as he and his team fight to prevent the spread of a deadly disease. Unfortunately, the team is betrayed by one of its own, leaving Ogawa to fight the genetically mutated monsters alone. Players don't enter the battle unprepared though, as Ogawa comes equipped with a variety of weapons, tools, and special ninja powers. The "Ninja Vision" power lets gamers see enemy weaknesses, secret paths, and hidden information, but enabling this power also leaves Ogawa susceptible to increased damage. The "Todome" power deals a fatal wound to enemy hearts, while "Ninjutsu" unleashes an explosion of electricity that can either stun opponents or protect Ogawa from attack. His traditional weapons, such as dual swords, grappling hooks, and grenades, dole out quite a bit of punishment as well, but the different environments mean players must think strategically when selecting the best combination of weapons to use. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Ninja blade uses cool moves and alot of quick time events for big bosses. The game needs alot of work as levels have glitches that require restarts, story is good, although the glitches can take away the enjoyment. The 1st level is a glitch where you'll have to restart if you can't go through the window. It's interesting with it's level design when it works, but I found too many problems with the game to really want to replay it again or finish it. Checkpoints are also very bad.”

“Ninja Blade plays alot like Ninja Gaiden but dont get it twisted this game brings a whole lot more to the table then just a Gaiden rip off. First off the game does the whole hack and slash button mashing thing to perfection the ability to hack enimies to pieces with mid blowing combos makes this game very enjoyable. The games graphics are pretty impressive and the story is acually very original, the main thing that makes this game stand out is the awsome cutscenes that make you part of the action by making you tap button combos when they are shown on the screen it gives the game a little extra edge. So if you were into ninja gaiden or devil maycry games then Ninja Blade is defently worth checking out.”

“It is a good game, more fun that Ninja Gaiden. But very unnecessarily hard to some points!”

“Too derivative to be a classic and too simple to test your virtual combat skills, Ninja Blade is just a blast to play.”
