DESCRIPTION

Nightopia is the place in our subconscious where dreams are played out. In this mystical place, an evil force is gaining strength, stealing dream energy from sleeping humans. He is Wizeman the Wicked, and if he is not stopped soon he will emerge into the world of reality. If that happens, nothing will be able to stop him!

One Nightopian escapes Wizeman's clutches and seeks out Claris and Elliot. These two children have a growing sense of bravery, the only type of dream energy that Wizeman cannot steal. So the children merge with the Dreamworld to attempt to save both Nightopia and our own world!

Nights Into Dreams... is broken up into four stages per game. Players can choose to play the game as either Claris or Elliot. Each character plays through three unique stages, but both share the same fourth, final level. Players walk and fly through the game stages, while collecting spheres called Ideyas. Each stage ends with a boss, who must be defeated on the first try or the player will have to repeat the entire level. ~ Shawn Sackenheim, All Game Guide
