DESCRIPTION

In NHL '94, the player may take control of one of over 20 NHL teams and over 300 players, including Eric Lindros, Brett Hull, and Wayne Gretzky. EA Sports does it again with the best hockey engine out there.

A player may run through an exhibition game with period lengths of up to 20 minutes with two teams of his choice, or may choose to start a season mode.

After the season comes every hockey fan's favorite part: the playoffs. In a traditional 1 seed vs 8 seed, 4 seed vs 5 seed, etc, the fury and intesity of the real playoffs is executed masterfully.

EA Sports sets NHL '94 apart with all of the little things, however. Amazed by that double-deke five hole one-timer (hockey lingo)? After watching it again, save it to the highlights file. At the end of the season, the file can be viewed, as almost like a team video compilation.

Also unique is the ability to run a multi-team season. Players are forced to log in to prevent cheating, and may take the saved game home on a disk to play their games at home or at a friend's house.
