“These are in the order they come to mind and its an on the spot list but here goes. Keep in mind that I am trying to add new entries and not merely agree or disagree with the poster:
Final Fantasy VII (PSone) - The first RPG I understood as such and thoroughly enjoyed, cared about the characters and was completely engrossed in the story.
Tetris (GameBoy) - It is still the most addictive puzzle game I have ever played.
Intelligent Qube (PS2) - The most unique puzzle game I have ever played.
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) - A sprawling adventure title with tremendous replay value.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES) - A wacky and light-hearted horror based maze game. If you missed it you missed out. Sadly a true (and by true I mean good) sequel never saw the light of day (Ghoul Patrol doesn't count IMO).”
