DESCRIPTION
National Geographic: Plan It Green makes players the newly elected mayor of the highly polluted town of Greenville, and tasks them with turning the dingy city into a thriving eco-community. Gamers visit the city's eight districts, constructing eco-friendly residential, commercial, recreational, and operational facilities, and upgrading existing buildings to make them more energy efficient. There are more than a dozen different "green" buildings available, including zero-energy homes, co-op markets, and parks, and there are a number of ways to create healthier and more self-sufficient districts, such as solar panels, wind turbines, thermal insulation paint, and bike paths. The primary game mode offers players 45 different levels of action, while a "Free" mode lets gamers play at their own pace. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
