My Little Baby gives players the opportunity to experience all of the joy of child rearing, without having to deal with real-world pitfalls such as dirty diapers, colic, and cradle cap. Gamers begin by designing the skin, hair, and eye traits of their virtual parents, thus determining the baby's features. Players must then feed, clothe, and care for their newborn through four developmental stages, ensuring that their child's seven contentedness indicators stay high. Gamers can then watch as their baby learns to crawl, walk, and, with a little help from mom or dad and the DS microphone, talk. Day-to-day tasks are primarily handled through mini-games such as diaper changing, playing peek-a-boo, and tummy tickling, and proud parents can snap photos of their child for scrapbooks or use in a baby beauty pageant. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
