DESCRIPTION
Mixing elements of Pac-Man and Katamari Damacy, The Munchables puts gamers in control of creatures that are armed with nothing but an insatiable appetite. With their home planet overtaken by evil space pirates, he Munchables' fight back the only way they can: by eating. Players help the creatures grow large by devouring all the fruit, vegetables, and chocolate in sight, with the hope of eventually growing large enough to take on eight enemy bosses and destroy the pirate leader Don Onion. There are more than 150 different enemies to confront, including the food-themed Eggplanter, Space Shroom, and Rice Baller, and gamers can embark on the fattening escapes alone or with a friend in two-player mode. Those who prefer fast-paced gorging to leisurely grazing can choose to race against the clock in "Time Attack" mode. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“Interesting game so far. As someone else said, it's a bit like Katamari, Pacman, and a platformer combined. Not really difficult in any way, but still good fun.”

“Cute and colorful graphics and addictive gameplay make this unique little platformer a definite must play. It looks like a kids-only game at first but it ends up being very quirky and Japanese in some ways...”

They might not be typically fearsome, but compared to the sickeningly cute animals you'll play as in Namco Bandai's Munchables, these bosses are demons on this Wii platformer.
