DESCRIPTION

Combining elements of Pac-Man and Make Trax, Munch Man has players guiding the title character around a maze, connecting all the passageways with a continuous chain while avoiding the pursuit of four "Hoonos." Like Pac-Man, Munch Man can temporarily turn the tables on his enemies by gobbling up one of four energizers positioned in the four corners of the maze. Every platform from this era needs a good maze game, and Munch Man certainly qualifies. It's not as cute as Pac-Man, and it's sorely lacking a musical score, but gameplay is fun and fast paced, there are 20 different enemy shapes, and filling in the maze with chains is a distinct challenge, especially in later, faster levels. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
