DESCRIPTION

Mr. Driller 2 for Game Boy Advance is a port of the arcade-based sequel to PlayStation, Dreamcast, and PC (and coin-op) puzzle game, Mr. Driller. After disaster strikes the earth, there is only one place to go: down. And so Mr. Driller must be guided through an underground mission to reach a subterranean utopia. Initially, two Driller characters are available to play with and three zones to drill into, namely India, America, and Egypt.

As your chosen Driller digs deeper underground (visually realized by a cross-sectional view of the action), air capsules must be collected to survive the increasing pressure, which are scattered among colored bricks and blocks. Mr. Driller 2 involves drilling through groups of blocks, avoiding tough-to-crack bricks, and collecting vital oxygen capsules.

It is also important to keep tabs on your levels of air supply, as well as to avoid the debris that drops from above. A two-player game throws a "race to the depths" element into the mix and is played via two Game Boy Advance units along with a single copy of Mr. Driller 2 and a link cable. ~ Jonti Davies, All Game Guide
