In one of his final two original arcade outings, Mr. Do gives up being chased by unicorns for a day at the fair in Mr. Do's Wild Ride. Never one to completely give up dangerous pursuits, Mr. Do needs the player's help to navigate a winding roller coaster track. He's trying to gather all the cherries from the ladders along the track without getting hit by the coaster cars or some curious spherical objects that can knock him off the tracks and back to square one. The ladders offer a very temporary escape route from the roller coaster cars, but the player's clownish contestant eventually slides back down to the track after a second or two. The most unusual of the Mr. Do! games, Mr. Do's Wild Ride is the biggest diversion from the other games' basic monster-blasting premise, owing more to Donkey Kong than to the original Mr. Do!'s Dig Dug-like tunneling. ~ Earl Green, All Game Guide
