DESCRIPTION

Mount & Blade is an action RPG, very much in the vein of Bethesda Softworks' Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, in which players have to freedom to roam a vast, sandbox-style world engaging in medieval-themed adventures. Calradia is a war-torn land, filled with hundreds of unique locations that offer opportunities for both solitary adventurers and warriors harboring dreams of conquest. True to its name, Mount & Blade gives gamers the chance to engage in unique horseback combat and wield a wide assortment of medieval weaponry. There are hundreds of characters with which to interact, and players who become adept at sword fighting can eventually grow strong enough to command great armies, unseat kings, and take over the land. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
