DESCRIPTION

The handheld version of THQ's MotoGP features 16 authentic riders, ten of whom are playable on 16 international tracks. The perspective is just behind the selected rider as players lean their bike left or right to account for turns while racing a predetermined number of laps. Four game modes include Quick Race, Time Attack, Tournament, and Grand Prix.

Quick Race is a three-lap event on any of the available courses. Time Attack offers players an opportunity to break a course's lap time while racing against a ghost competitor. Tournament is composed of four distinct leagues, each offering four different tracks, where players advance based solely on their overall position at the end of each race.

Grand Prix consists of a complete MotoGP Championship season in one of three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, or Hard. Each finish is worth a set amount of points used to determine the overall winner at the end of the season. Players can either start a race in a fixed position or try to move up in the starting grid by entering a qualifying run.

Up to four players can compete in the Quick Race mode after hooking up the appropriate number of Game Link Cables. Each player wishing to participate in a multiplayer race must have his or her own copy of the game.
