DESCRIPTION

Panama Joe, the hero of Montezuma's Revenge, is an Indiana Jones style adventurer who is searching for treasure in the dangerous fortress of Montezuma. In this game you will be called upon to use your platform game reflexes and adventure game smarts to help Panama Joe survive.

Each level spans several screens. Each non-scrolling room presents different challenges, threats and rewards. As you journey through the fortress, you will find jewels that increase your score (which will bring you bonus lives.) You will also need to find swords and keys to overcome the obstacles facing you.

If Panama Joe is to survive, he will have to make death defying leaps across fiery pits, swing from rope to rope, sprint across disappearing floors, and negotiate treacherous conveyer belts.
