DESCRIPTION
Monopoly is based on the popular board game by Parker Brothers which was created in 1935. This version plays exactly like the board game except you can play against computer opponents in addition to other people. Up to 10 people can play, a combination of computer and human, or all human. There are three difficulty settings to choose from for each computer opponent.
If you are not familiar with Monopoly it is a game about real estate. Roll the dice and move around the board. You will land on different properties as you progress around the board. If it is not owned by another player then you can purchase the property. When another player owns the property you must pay them rent, unless it is mortgaged. Purchase a complete set of the same color properties will allow you to build houses and eventually hotels on them. Bascally the objective is to own as many properties as you can and cause the other players to go bankrupt.
Monopoly features a battery backup so you can save a game at any point and finish it at a later date. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
