“DICE really needs to be commended for going out on a limb and trying an innovative new way of doing things. Parkour doesn't seem like it'd lend itself well to a first person perspective (for a game, anyway), but they pretty much nailed it. While the core mechanics are excellent, combat is where it really breaks down. Trying to time counters is difficult and gunplay just isn't Faith's strong suit. You can *attempt* to get through the game without using a gun (achievement for it), but it's practically impossible given the placement and copious amounts of resistance. The campaign is short and the only other feature is to run through the levels in time trials. Story is pretty basic and characters aren't really developed. Sound and music fit the game perfectly. Hopefully when the sequel rolls around they'll address the combat (remove it) and resolve the story issues (make us care about the story).”
