DESCRIPTION
eGames' Mini Golf Master 2 sports 162 holes spread across 18 themed courses. As in the previous title, players are tasked with proving their putting mettle across a slew of unconventional settings that include a pirate isle, a medieval castle, and the distant reaches of outer space. The objective, of course, is to get the ball in the hole with the least number of strokes, a task made more complicated by the obstacles that litter your path. Eschewing the isometric overhead perspective utilized by its predecessor in favor of a three-dimensional approach, Mini Golf Master 2 enables players to rotate the game field in order to best ascertain the correct angle for each shot.
Prior to the start of play, players (up to four people can participate on a single computer) select from a cast of 12 avatars — an oddball collection that includes a ninja, dinosaur, knight, Viking, skeleton pirate, robot, and a slice of buttered toast. After each hole, a scorecard is displayed that tracks each player's score for the current round, as well as performance statistics such as holes-in-one and the average for each hole. A Practice option permits players to hone their skills on any one of the available courses, while the Hall of Fame records any noteworthy achievements performed out on the mini-links. ~ Gavin Frankle, All Game Guide
