Mike Ditka Power Football is one of the first eight megabit cartridges released for the Sega Genesis and offers several features that distinguish itself from other football games. Four passing modes are available; players can be injured or substituted; 28 pro-caliber teams are based upon their real-life 1990 counterparts; and a new perspective on field goal attempts places you right behind the kicker. Former NFL referee Jim Tunney makes the calls during the Single Game, Final Drive or Playoff modes.
