The best of short-lived publisher Camerica's releases on the NES, Micro Machines is a superb game of miniature racing in the tradition of R.C. Pro-Am. Based on Galoob Toys' line of micro-sized vehicles, this Codemasters' developed effort is a real achievement, offering a cast of 11 distinct characters, nine types of vehicles, and 32 tracks set in nine creative environments like a bathtub, a kitchen table and an office desk. The graphics push the capabilities of the NES, with detailed vehicles, colorful backgrounds, and ingenious touches like the Cheerios that mark the edge of the track on the breakfast table. Over the course of the game, you'll drive, fly, and race over water in a variety of vehicles, including 4x4 trucks, helicopters, sports cars and tanks. Each race is against three other competitors and you must come in first or second to proceed. ~ Skyler Miller, All Game Guide
