Players take the roles of some of the world's most famous franchise cartoon characters for a race across the United States in this release from Nintendo. The game offers an isometric view of the action as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and other Disney mainstays speed through courses based on actual U. S. locations. In classic kart-racer style, each character has his or her own vehicle with unique, personality-appropriate abilities and the varied tracks are full of outrageous power-ups, the use of which can often lead to humorous consequences. ~ T.J.
