DESCRIPTION
The industry's most famous female bounty hunter returns for another intergalactic adventure, her first on Wii. The indomitable Samus Aran must battle her not-so-better half, Dark Samus, to save the Galactic Federation from imminent destruction. As in the two previous Metroid Prime games on GameCube, the action unfolds from a first-person viewpoint as players blast an assortment of vile aliens and Space Pirates with her multifunctional arm cannon. Samus is not alone in her battles, however, as a number of hunters will make an appearance to either help or hinder her progress.
For its Wii debut, Metroid Prime features a motion-sensitive control scheme that involves guiding Samus with the Nunchuk controller and aiming with the Wii Remote. Familiar gadgets and acrobatic techniques take on a new feel thanks to the Wii's distinctive control scheme. Players, for example, can simply extend and pull back their arm to open air locks, grab objects, and more. Samus can once again acquire visor enhancements and beam weapons to add to her arsenal, and for the first time in the series, the bounty hunter will be able to fly her ship during certain parts of the game. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

“Pirates Troopers Guns bombs and tenctacles to shoot, oh my
I hate FPS i really do, but on the Wii, Metroid Prime ROCKS
I've only played to the missle launcher (not far mind me) and already i feel the game i worth buying
Parents of young'unes beyeware, the game has language
this is Nintendo's Halo and we KNOW IT
Samus Aran (Said Sam Us Air-in) is the classic nintendo hottie in a powersuit that grew up in magnified gravity eneabling her Zerosuit self in her role in Super Smash Bros to be highly nimble, returns for a blitz of gns, energy, bombs and lasers on wii
thankfully we begn in Varia suit form, which is the suit featured on the cover mind me,
the gameplay using the wiiremote to point took some time thanks to my lovey lefthandedness but so it seems it's an easy game as long as you've battery power in your wiimote, lefty or righty
the onylt hing i hate about wiimote aim control is the fact that yo ucant move too fst or the game wont register it, but this is all over the wii so no complaints
as this is also my first FPS, i really feel if this doesnt go over well, no FPS will for me,
however i was inspired by constant Samus use in SSB64,SSBM,&SSBB as my main fighter, so i wish to play metroid, FPS or no,
however the graphic are amazing, the mobility is insane and the lock on is modest yet useful
so why 3 of 5?
F.P.S. End of story
for me FPS is no higher than 3 of 5 even if the best game ever, simply because of difficulty for my mind to process the game srroundings
luckily, Samus mad eme eager to play, and sure enough environment interactions are the one thing locking me in, i msut now play so i can see what that swtich over there does if shoto it, or pul it, or can i grapll onto the unloaded missle voley? stuff like that hooks me,
so i wish to letmy GDNA followers know i've beun playing FPS, but i will never give over 3 of 5 for any FPS ever”

“This is a great game. Decent length, great mechanics... yet I was a bit underwhelmed for some reason. I don't know why, I never felt FULLY engaged. Perhaps it is the story that feels just second class. In any case, the gameplay is great. Although aiming with the remote can get a bit tiresome at points. Also, in heated battles, sometimes it is hard to keep track of where the reticle is with so much going on in the screen... so feedback could be better.
Overall, great game. Fully recommend it.”
