DESCRIPTION
The second game in the Mega Man ZX series, Mega Man ZX Advent offers the same kind of plot and character duality as it's predecessor, but with an English voice cast and a whole new gang of enemy Mega Men to fight. The two protagonists, a young human girl named Ashe and a young Reploid boy named Grey, discover the powers of the Biometal model A and use it to help end the chaos caused by an ongoing battle between humans and robots. Though the two characters share the same adventures, their stories are different, and players must use both Grey and Ashe to unlock the full plot.
The Biometal model A is special because, in addition to it's own set of unique attacks, it gives Grey and Ashe the ability to mimic the abilities of any vanquished foe. So battling each of the eight "Pseudoroid" Mega Men lets players gain special abilities that help them advance through the game and access previously unavailable areas. Mega Man ZX Advent takes advantage of the DS touch screen by allowing gamers to switch between the Biometal and map screens with the flick of a finger, and beating bosses in strategic ways unlocks more than 20 valuable bonus items. Two players can team up or go head-to-head in wireless action, and solo gamers can take it easy with five unlockable mini-games. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide

“I don't know what happened between Megaman ZX and Megaman ZX Advent... But I did not like it...
It felt the same as ZX with the sidescrolling exploration and townspeople but something happened in level design and the map seemed to be extremely confusing (for me at least) and hard to navigate towards your levels you want to get at. Aside from that it plays exactly like ZX so it is still worth checking out but you may need an FAQ when it comes to finding the next level.”

“I am going to assume that most know of the Mega Man Zero series and how it is set in the future of the Mega Man X time-line. But more importantly, it is weird at how hard it is to find the GBA...”

“Beat another boss on expert mode, but not really feeling that much into it, my main goal is beating The Survival Road Minigame, then maybe playing Mega Man ZX and beating Aile's story.”

“Well, I've beat the game with Grey's storyline, and I must say, that even though it wasn't as good as ZX, it was still an alright game. The game had almost nothing to do with Models Z and X development, and didn't offer as many bonuses as ZX.”
