DESCRIPTION
Mega Man X puts a new spin on the regular Mega Man series of games. Dr. Light and Dr. Wily are now long gone and Mega Man awakens from a long sleep in the far future. He is given new upgrades by his new owner, Dr. Cain.
The game is also different because Mega Man X can get new upgrades and there are new power-ups like the heart tanks that increase your life meter. The bosses dropped the "man" titles and now have names like Sting Chameleon and Flame Mammoth. ~ Clark Phelan, All Game Guide

“This is the ONLY Megaman game I was crazy about. It initially was the music in the first stage that hooked me then right after I realized this game wasn't as frustrating as all the Megaman games I played before it. I have beaten Megaman X and Megaman 10 (and YES I know the difference) and trust me I've played them all. I don't fully grasp Megaman but every once in a while they make one I go crazy about.
This title is one of those titles!
The others would be Megaman Legends 1, and Megaman ZX.”

“One of the godly SNES titles, Mega Man X has always stood as an example of how to make a game shine with absolute quality. This game is not only one of the most intense rides ever with its wonderful movement system and unrelenting action, but innovative in its exploration within the stages to find upgrades that will become necessities in the end-game. Like the original series, the game is brutally difficult. It's difficulty differs from the original however, in that X and the bosses are both incredibly strong and efficient and can move and attack at a much faster, action-oriented pace. This makes the battles far more intense and stylish, contrasting with the basic nature of the original games. This game's boss-fights represent some of the best action design ever presented in a video game and their difficulty and heart-pumping intensity puts this down as one of the most thrilling games of all time. The stages admittedly take a big back-seat to the bosses in this game when it comes to difficulty but this does nothing to harm the amazingness Mega Man X represents. Absolutely essential. (owned on X Collection, completed. accurate rating is 9.00) ”

“I am going to assume that most know of the Mega Man Zero series and how it is set in the future of the Mega Man X time-line. But more importantly, it is weird at how hard it is to find the GBA...”

“Who wouldn't like the game that introduced Zero to us? Even though it has nothing to do with the original Mega Man series, it plays the same, just better, with more story and upgrades.”

“A drastic upgrade to the Mega Man formula that offers speed, more intense action, bigger and more beautiful environments, and collectible items and upgrades. It's a wonder the sequels managed to top it.”

“Anyone who ever owned a Super Nintendo has to have played Megaman X, at least I would hope. Classic Side-scrolling Megaman breaks into a new series, which is my favorite out of them all. Fight Bosses, get upgrades, get new suit parts.”

I tried X-6 I think it was... The one where they introduced ducking, and I gave it back to my friend I borrowed it from in about an hour.”
