New characters are really good, and the battle system is very fast-paced and has the perfect amount of action within it for a Mega Man game. From what I recall of the little I played of Xenosaga, this battle system is very similar. Graphically, this game looks awesome with bright cell-shading that really should have been used in the series earlier than this. Definitely one of the most unique games in the franchise and excellent for fans of the series, perhaps even for those who don't like RPG's as this one is fast-paced enough to appeal to the more action-oriented gamers.
