Fans resume the role of "Prince of All Cosmos" in this portable adaptation of Namco's sleeper-hit PS2 game, Katamari Damacy. Me and My Katamari follows the design of the earlier Katamari games, through a series of levels in which the goal is to roll a sticky ball — the "Katamari" — around a real-world environment, picking up objects and items along the way to make it as large as possible. Because the PSP does not feature two analog sticks (as the PS2's Dual Shock controllers do), controls for steering the ball are mapped to the D-pad and face buttons. The game's storyline encourages the player to roll up huge Katamaris that will be used to create new islands, which will serve as homes for animals displaced by a tsunami. A mini-game is also included, which translates the title's distinct ball-rolling gameplay to a 2D format. ~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
