DESCRIPTION

After more than two decades, the evil Skeletor and his minions are still trying to gain control of Eternia and only He-Man can stop them. In Masters of the Universe — He-Man: Power of Grayskull, players step into He-Man's powerful role, negotiating 13 levels divided between exploration (jumping and sword fighting) and vehicle (driving and firing weapons) modes. Successfully completing a level earns a password, keeping repetitious gameplay to a minimum (unless by choice).

The adventure contains a bevy of standard enemies, such as griffins, shadow beasts, giant spiders, and slugs; bosses like Beast Man, Trapjaw, Tri-Klops, and Clawful; and a multitude of traps and triggers. Pick-ups and power ups include orbs and shrines (shield, energy, and damage), as well as jars, barrels, and collectibles needed for completing missions. Beginning in Castle Grayskull and culminating at Snake Mountain, players fight through levels picking up gems, riding creatures like Battle Cat or Battle Hawk, gathering points to earn extra lives, and battling evil doers. ~ Michael L.
