DESCRIPTION

Master of Magic (or MoM) is a complex turn-based strategy game encompassing a rich fantasy world, with spell design and casting, diplomacy, exploration, empire building, and combat. Assuming the role of one of several predefined wizards, each with their own powers and abilities, or designing your own custom wizard, you take control of a fantastical race of creatures and lead them to victory.

In MoM, you must manage the gathering of different resources, including mana (mystical energy), as well as ensuring that you produce enough food and gold to supply and pay your armies. At the same time, you can send out parties of adventurers led by Heroes to explore two differnet planes of reality and the numerous lairs, towers, temples, and dungeons contained within. As you explore, you can conquer enemy or neutral towns and then produce armies and creatures available only to these other races.
