DESCRIPTION
The superhero universe is embroiled in civil war, and it's time for players to choose sides in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The game is a mission-driven action-adventure with a focus on small-squad combat, viewed from an isometric perspective. As in Marvel's earlier 3D action games (such as titles in the X-Men Legends series, as well as the original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance), role-playing aspects also influence the adventure, with gamers choosing which heroes to control, and how to improve their various superpowers and abilities as they gain experience by defeating enemies and accomplishing goals.
In most scenarios, a team of four Marvel heroes battles a path through areas teeming with high-tech defenses, heavily armed thugs, and rival superhero and supervillian enemies. Players can switch control between the characters, while the computer takes control of additional teammates. Co-operative multiplayer modes for up to four are available, both online and for same-screen players. While all the heroes and villains can perform basic maneuvers such as leaps and melee attacks, each also has a distinct superpower. Over two dozen heroes and villains are available for play, and the special powers of any two super-beings can be combined into a new, even more powerful "fusion" ability. A team with a good mix of special abilities is better prepared for the diverse dangers and challenges that wait in each mission.
The story of the Ultimate Alliance 2 is taken from the Civil War saga, the major crossover event that was first revealed in the pages of multiple Marvel comics in 2006 and early 2007. The U.S. government is calling on all super-powered humans to reveal themselves and register with an official agency, for the safety and protection of the population at large. Heroes and villains now reevaluate past loyalties and regroup according to their stance toward this conflict, which pits the security of the people against the liberties of the individual.

Well minus the temper tantrums (well kind of)--any time I have had twenty something guests over I have had similar issues.
Yep issues in the list from one to ten, are all stuff I have seen (way too often) from people in their twenty somethings.
Though number seven tends to be a form of foreplay when the people are past twenty compared to when they are ten.

I also feel for you when you say one or two out of a huge ass collection. Most of the time I'm forced to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 out of the what? 40+ combined xbox 360 & original xbox games I have.
For some of the things such as my battery pack I've told their parents that the kids owe me such and such amount for a replacement and the parents while irritated, agreed to help the kids pay me off. So I'm guessing the kids will be doing slave labor inorder to get money from their parents :)
Or atleast some other punishment that would teach these kids some restraint and respect for other people's items. All in all this is family or alteast kind of family in some cases so I'm not expecting to get paid, but if that happens I can almost guarantee several beatdowns and a change from faux democracy to a nice, cruel, heartless dictatorship next time they're over.

“@mrvista360 - hey, I am one of five people in the known universe that enjoys Two Worlds. Well 'enjoy' is a bit strong, I tolerate it with random instances of enjoyment. My wife is another of the five. @Katrinathelamia - The Digital Millenium Copyright Act allows for people to keep backup copies of all software and music that they own legitimate copies thereof. I had to write a paper on it in college. Then again, I am not aware of any changes made to such legislation since then. But it was a topic of debate during the whole Napster debacle and the ongoing piracy epidemic that has been going on since. @bonemane - Your story reminds me why I miss cartridges. They were so @#$% durable! Every game disc should come with a protective coating on them for scratch resistance. I don't let anyone under the age of 12 touch my game systems,and even then it is a case by case basis with extreme supervision for the first hour or so. Just to make sure they don't chainsaw any discs. ”

“That sucks if we can't make backup of the games we own since they get scratched up WAAAAAAAY too easy nowadays. I remember those old black ps1 disks could take a beating and still work flawlessly.
I started noticing the disks started getting fragile once the ps2 came out. The disk to my interact *ugh* memory card slipped off my coffee table and shattered into pieces and its was only like two feet high. Also, I kept dozens of ps2 demo discs and games in a giant cd booklet I had and never touched them for years only to find them all scratched up after taking them out a little bit ago.
It was real surprising since some of those games I've only played for like an hour and put them away and others such as demos disks I had multiple copies of so I NEVER played them and still they scratched almost to the point of no return =/

“@bettadud Think about it, you have a bunch of CDs in even closer proximity to each other than normal grinding against each other constantly every time the container is moved. As long as you don't move the thing or place anything on it. Cases are much safer for discs. Not as efficient in terms of space though.”

Yeah I just threw out about 30 or so broken hard jewel cases myself. They might have less chances of scratching up your cds, but unless you store them properly or buy some heavy duty ones you're just going to end up with cracked cases and plastic bits everywhere.
With hard cases I'd go with the same ones as the 360 and old ps2 cases. They're heavy duty and will last long, but after awhile they look so tired and worn.”

Look at Graphic Novels. Many of them can handle some rather mature concepts. However, most people refuse to think of comics as a medium capable of showing anything other than stories at the level of Family Circus.
Video games have much the same issues of just merely being downplayed so much.
The only sad thing is: Movie ratings parents latched onto from the start as "need to know" information. Those same parents tend to be completely oblivious to the fact that there is a rating system for video games.
I dunno, if these parents are ones to ignore the "Explicit Lyrics" sticker on CDs/Albums.

Look at Graphic Novels. Many of them can handle some rather mature concepts. However, most people refuse to think of comics as a medium capable of showing anything other than stories at the level of Family Circus.
Video games have much the same issues of just merely being downplayed so much.
The only sad thing is: Movie ratings parents latched onto from the start as "need to know" information. Those same parents tend to be completely oblivious to the fact that there is a rating system for video games.
I dunno, if these parents are ones to ignore the "Explicit Lyrics" sticker on CDs/Albums.

Oh but if you want to, be my guest, but I will be the last one laughing when you die before me b/c of a short life expectancy due to cancer of the skin.
Then I usually tell that person that I do get out, at night for fun in the pool, not during the day. Oh & when I go to college or take college courses online, it takes up a lot of my time. When I just want to sit back & relax with a great game. Yes I do work out, at home, in my room.
I am a sales associate & would like people to value my time as I value theirs. So you are right with what you said. Right now it's paying the bills, while I try & look for another job. But when I tell them on their guilty conscience that I get commission, they automatically feel bad. Of course I make hourly wages too. LOL. I won't say that. I do have a tendency of making people feel bad in a bad way or in a sad way. & I am a smartass when I am on a role.

“@KatrinaTheLamia Yes I was born & raised in Texas my whole life. I consider myself a bit of a weirdo & so does my fiance, but he still loves me for it. I say that in the aspect that, I am an outdoorsy type person & I am half country & half city. I don't like the city. But everyone thinks that if they hear a person is from Texas they auto. assume they ride horses & there are Native American Indians chasing after us w/bows & arrows. Seriously, someone did say that to me. I told HIM, to grow up, it used to be like that. But now the Indians are on reservations or roaming about. Like I care.......Anyways, I also game too. So it is weird to hear a half country/half city girl playing video games a ton. What am I supposed to do? Go along with the stereotype? NOOOOO!!!!!!

I mean, I know there are a lot more than four people in Texas... but I am not certain you really are as weird as you'd been told to be. Two of the others, that you do share a few traits with, I think are very sweet and nice to talk with.
The only real issues I have seen (and is a common trait), is slight spots in their knowledge that is missing. Which it is common enough that the same information is not something they have until they get to the internet.

Whatever their background they came from in Texas, if they are a native Texan, is for example, take myself. I am half country & half city. My fiancee is from the North, PA, & makes fun of my twang TX accent. That's fine, b/c I can't talk like a northern & just sound plain stupid. I don't see how northern people talk the way they do & I think it's hilarious. So both sides think each others' way of talking is funny. Also, I grew up around a couple farm animals.....my parents are simpletons. My dad being a farm boy all his life. My mother being a girl from the suburbs. My brother who now dips, & smokes & drinks.....oih, a lot of Texans down here dip. Bad habit too. Ewww.
But there may be a difference between me & the other Texans you talked to.....referring to their knowledge......I like to educate myself on certain subjects, ones that pique my interest or ones that I don't want to, but just handy enough to keep around in case I need to back up my point to some idiot.
Yes I have rode on horses, which btw is VERY fun to do. & if it helps with everyone's curiosity......all there is to date or before I got engaged was farm boys, cowboys & country boys.
One thing, about most Texans is they don't like other out of staters coming in to Texas & creating havoc. We are a very down home, loving type of people, caring, hospitality & would even give others the clothes we don't wear. A good room to stay in if something has happened to them, but we expect that person to find a job & start working, either to eventually work on their own & find a place on their own or like some out of staters, fall in love with the Texans' daughter & get married. Lol. That's what happened to me & my fiancee, but he never came to live w/us. Lol.
& some Texans are very racist & will still fly the Stars & Bars flag aka the Confederate Flag. I see it as heritage, not hate. Others are a little diff. & even say "The South Will Rise Again."
So yes I may be different from the others you have met that are from Texas.

I know when I was in school, all through out school till I was a senior in HS......I was in Speech class.....b/c I did have a learning disability. Something about how I couldn't remember information the teacher would tell the class.....& when I was in elementary school, I had a hard time pronouncing my R's and S's & I think F's too. But eventually worked at it & overcame it.
But other than that can you tell me any examples of lack of aptitudes in certain areas....if you can please. I am curious to know.
