DESCRIPTION

Based on the trading card game from Upper Deck and designed for players of all skill levels, the Marvel Trading Card Game features over 800 collectable cards adorned with such superheroes as The Incredible Hulk, members of the X-Men, Ghost Rider, and Spider-Man. Single players may work their way through the "Story" mode as a hero or villain by battling enemies and viewing comic book scenes created by Alex Garner and Adam Kubert that illustrate the direction of the narrative. Defeating opponents and progressing through the single-player mode can earn gamers new cards for their deck. Additional cards can be purchased at the online store or gained by trading with friends. Through a wireless connection, gamers may compete in gameplay formats that include a "Vs." mode or create their own tournaments from scratch.
