DESCRIPTION

Marvel Super Heroes in War of the Gems is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up in the classical sense, but it mixes in many of the elements found in Capcom's one-on-one fighting games. Players take control of Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man and Hulk, with each fighter sporting distinctive moves.

Special moves include gem moves (for each character), plus various special and basic moves, including shield throw, changing star, rock crush, body slam, repulsar laser, bomb attack, wall climb, web shooter, dash claw and rising claw. There are a total of seven gems each with distinctive powers, such as more powerful attacks, higher jumping, makes invisible things visable, fast feet and more life. General items can also be picked before battle while fighting. Locations include Boston aquarium, Alaska, Doom's Castle, Amazon and Egypt. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
