If it's a close game and you win by 1 point through your ability to play mini-games better than others the game will give points to the loser at the end of the game. A close game means a tie.

“Great party game, takes a long time if you want to unlock new characters. Purchasing stuff is a pain due to the number of tickets everything costs and how often you get tickets. Like the character set, too many menus to go through to get to play”
