DESCRIPTION
Partners in Time is a DS sequel to 2003's Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GBA. Once again, the platforming plumber brothers team up to take down a slew of Mushroom Kingdom miscreants, though action-RPG-style play. In this game, they will also twist time to team up with themselves — at a much younger age. Special battle sequences allow Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi to join together to pull off special four-plumber tours de force. In addition to the fighting, the game features conversation and exploration. The main action occurs in the upper screen, while the lower screen displays maps and other useful information. ~ All Game Guide

“It was playable, it wasn't grand, it wasn't original. Play the first one, or the third one. This game felt like filler.”

“Enjoyable entry in the Mario RPG series that finds the Mushroom Kingdom invaded by mushroom aliens called Shroobs. Although the game is funny and charming, there's no real overworld and the controls can get messy at times.”

“A follow-up to the GBA game, and is a decent RPG in it's own right. The only annoying part is how weak the babies are, especially when they are alone, but luckily this doesn't happen too often.”

“Absolutely hilarious Action-RPG starring the Mario Bros and their toddler counter-parts. If you like twitch style Action-RPGs, then you should definitely pick this up.”

“An excellent addition to the Mario RPG legacy. Difficulty curb never ramps too high to turn players off, the writing is brilliantly funny, and the graphics, while cartoony, retain a top-notch Mario feel to them. Exceeded it's prequel in all ways.”

“BEAT IT! Waa-hoo! Last boss(es. Typical RPG), while annoying, was not that difficult. One of the things I love about this game is the difficulty curve. It's so set, and you never feel too...”
