Mana Khemia 2 continues the offbeat PlayStation 2 role-playing series that has you attending classes at an academy for magically inclined students and creating items using the power of alchemy. You'll guide your choice of a male or female student throughout his or her academic life, trying to earn passing grades by completing quests on behalf of the academy's instructors. Fulfilling tasks involves venturing out into a dangerous world filled with creatures to defeat and items to collect. These items serve as ingredients for various recipes needed to achieve your goals. Instead of gaining levels as in traditional role-playing games, characters in Mana Khemia 2 advance by synthesizing items listed in their "grow books."
