Description

Magic: The Gathering — Online is an online only card playing game where players buy and trade electronic cards, build decks, and compete with other players. No monthly fee is required to play Magic: The Gathering — Online, but players must purchase cards and admission tickets (to play in tournaments). A sophisticated deck editor allows decks to be sorted and arranged to each player's liking, but a random shuffler assures an element of suspense for every match. Illegal moves are prevented by a computer judge, allowing novices to play and learn the complicated rules. A rating system tracks every match and adjusts rankings accordingly. ~ All Game Guide

I pride myself in my ability to find glitches! Today I found one in Magic Online! (Which, by the way, I was unbanned from!)

The glitch is with Preeminent Captain. When you use its ability, the soldier creature that's summoned doesn't have its attack damage resolved. Sad for me, because it's one of the staple cards for the deck I use in the online game and in real life!

Screenshots in my DNA, so it did happen!

This morning I was banned from Magic Online! I can't really figure out why just yet, but I'm working on that! Hopefully I'll hear back from customer service soon.

I learned how to play Magic on Magic Online a few years ago, and having liked it so much, I went on to play it in real life. Lately there's been a lack of interest and a lot of scheduling conflicts with my friends and I haven't been able to play it much in real life. So, I decided to go back to Magic Online!

So I bought my account, purchased a few boosters from the store, and then discovered the "Classifieds" section (which didn't exist as far as I know back when I played before) and went crazy with it, trading up all the cards I use in the deck I use in real life.

I played a few games, and then a couple hours later, in the middle of a game, I get kicked out and it says my account has been banned! This gave me a mini-heart attack, so I'm kinda freaked out. I've never been banned from any game in my life.. :P

today i tried playing multiplayer on MTGO for the first time and i got a somewhat good starter hand but i only had one land, an island, so i took a mulligan and ended up with only one land again, a plain this time. but othervise a quite good hand so i thought il play it anyways and hope to get a land in my next draw. that didnt happen but i still had one more turn before i actually needed another land so i still had some chance of staying in the game. After five turns i still didnt get any lands at all and i was in a quite bad position as the only one without creatures and having to sacrifice card after card.it was around here the others started attacking me the only one who had no defence. All i needed to get out of this situation was one simple land just one single land and i had 19 lands left in my deck having 20 to begin with i was sure i would get one after another the next draws. That didnt happen instead i didnt get a single land and lost on turn ten. it was the worst game of magic i ever played since i could do nothing but sit there and hope for a land.

"If you like nerdy guys this is a good game to master. I have an all elf deck, that has tricks for getting out more and more elves. I enjoy it when it works and I can run over a surprised guy with my wall of elves."

"I love MtG but I hate that you have to buy fake cards online and only get the real ones if you get a full set. They need to make serial numbers on the real cards you can enter in to the online version"

"nice to be ale to play a game of mtg at any hour of the day or night. but digital cards just aren't the same as laying out your deck in front of you. [or seeing the look on your higher ranked opps face when you sweep them] XD"
