EA's John Madden sponsored line of football games is one of the most critically acclaimed and perennially popular series of sports titles in the gaming industry. Each year the game is updated with new features and a roster that reflects the current makeup of the NFL teams. In addition to the new rosters and some graphical enhancements, Madden NFL 2001 features player-specific celebrations and taunts as well as new in-game commentary from John Madden and Pat Summerall. On the screen, a player's size is more accurate to his real-life counterpart.
